There is a chance OKC doesn't make the playoffs and a bigger chance that Durant doesn't recover quickly. But there is also a small chance that a month is enough for him to get back in the game. I'm going to stay positive :cheers: :cheers: :rockon: :rockon:

He could come back in time, but he would need time to gain confidence and get rid of the rust. The postseason is the worst time for that.

Right now I think the best thing is the Thunder to tank and let Pelicans go in. They would have no chance with a hobbled Durant and maybe without Ibaka. If they lose the playoffs, they would pick 4 steps higher than making the playoffs.

No reason go to the postseason just to win 1 or 2 games.

Why risk it? Foot injuries are not something to play around with.

How is KD and Ibaka gonna come back days before the Playoffs and be anywhere near good enough to beat the Warriors? You need to be peaking as you enter the postseason (especially as an #8 seed)...not restarting your entire season.

I don't think the Thunder are going to get a high enough pick to be worth tanking over. So might as well fight for the spot and get some of the younger guys (Adams, Kanter, McGary, etc) some playoff experience. Especially if it turns out that we can't count on Durant anymore, the team will need to learn how to play without him.
