Clutch is now synonymous with making a quarter of shots (25% for those serving food outside a window) in crunch time? If so, your hero is very clutch.

Humble, great shooter, great all around player, played on fun teams to watch. I love watching 3 point shooters in general.

Indeed. (future neg with an positive comment. You have enough green squares. It's good for a man to deal with negatives though. It builds character.)

Ditto. His time as being an elite player was so short, and when you look at stats it's kind of hard for someone who never saw him play (Orlando Days) to understand what was the big deal. Here's a few reasons why people loved his game...
6'9 natural PG - Only other players that had his height at his position was Magic and Livingston
Handles - rare combination of smooth nice looking handle and never lost control. Kind of like a tall version of Chris Paul
Passing - He had incredible court vision and at least 3 times a game would make an amazing pass. His passes were the type that you mainly only saw players attempt in the Allstar game, I remember one of my favs where he soared in the air for a rebound, and while at his peak of the jump caught the ball with one hand, and whipped a no look behind the neck pass to a cutting big man!#!# it was epic!
Hops - this is where his comparisons to Magic and Livingston seperate and makes him one of the most unique players ever. Outside of the smooth handle, Penny would straight dunk on your Neck! He had hops that was equivalent to players that enter the dunk contest and week to week put someone on a poster
Put it together and you got a Chris Paul ball handle, with stylish Magic Johnson passing , and a tmac dunking ability, and that my friends is why we love Penny Hardaway so much

:oldlol:
Anyhow, I'm going with the one and only Michael Jordan. During the 90s, everyone wanted to be like Mike. Gatorade even made a commercial about it. Jordan was something special to watch. He could perform circus shot after circus shot with ease. It was magical. Jordan always gave it his all and left everything on the court. Oh and Space Jam is still a classic. I love that movie.

Tim Duncan. He's the greatest player I've seen live, and he plays the game the right way.
Other than him: Terry Porter, Manu Ginobili, Andrei Kirilenko and Doug Christie.

Probably Kobe. He doesn't cut corners to be successful and has this warrior mentality after sustaining an injury.
His Muse documentary really changed my outlook on him.

I can vibe with that.
Isiah Thomas. Greatest leader NBA has ever seen. And also another little man that was not afraid to get into a 7 footers face. But I'm talking about fighting...multiple fights...with 7 footers.

Shaq because we may never see anyone quite as physically dominant anymore.
Yeah, Shaq for me, too, but I think the rules are a big change for Shaq-like players. I think Bron is pretty much like Shaq except for the guard era.
I've never seen anyone like Shaq who could just bully someone and dunk.
They really did change the rules, too, because as I understood it most ( of course he did some illegal shit sometimes) of his moves were textbook even though they dislodged the defender. His post skill level was very high. He just used it to get into the rim opposed to shooting a fade away. There was a certain beauty in him finding a way to the hoop.
