But I probably will when Duncan does
Been a Spurs fan since I was 8 years and he has been on the ride the entire way. Duncan's spurs is all I know. It's always felt like he was gonna be with us forever but it's now becoming all too real that soon he won't be able to play with us anymore. And it will be the first time in my life that I will be a fan of an NBA team without The Big Fundamental being a part of it as a player. Crazy.
I really hope that after he retires he maintains some position as a part of the Spurs organization, it just wouldn't be the same without him

There's only 3 times in a man's life when it's okay to cry
1. When mom dies
2. When dog dies
3. When Tim Duncan retires

I cried when Lebron won that first championship
The most scrutinized and universally hated player in history at that point in time... From the moment he left the cavs, the number 1 story in the NBA was Lebron and winning a championship. No other player in history has been under as much pressure. I remember when a few days later I saw the Ringmaker ad... It was one of the greatest NBA ads I've ever seen

I don't think I'll cry, but I'll probably go through some mini sports depression.
The Spurs are literally done when Duncan retires. We're gonna have a huge identity crisis. Then Pop will be gone like a year or two after that. :lol

We're gonna be the Rockets for a few years but it's gonna be okay in the end

I can't imagine the Spurs without Duncan, they won't even be the same team anymore.

I can honestly say I won't care when Tim retires. Hell of a player but who cares.

If you didn't shed a tear when MJ is on the ground balling his eyes out after winning the championship on father's day, you have no soul

I remember watching the post game interview with Kahwi when he was asked about his father. He showed no emotion tho, reminds me of the terminator.

Dayum
I honestly don't think he's going to retire after this season. He's still a great player. Spurs are still a great team. He's relatively healthy. Why would he? Seriously, there's talk of KG playing another two years and he's nowhere near as good as Duncan right now.

Pop thinks he's coming back. I do too.
He's in great health. I don't think he's sat a game in months, and he's still playing All-Star basketball.

Duncan can have GOAT longevity. Imagine if he plays a few more seasons and racks up another FMVP or two while he's at it.
