Even outside of the weird inexplicable turnovers, Giannis doing a great job on Lebron. Still think Cavs explode in the 2nd half.

LeBron :oldlol:. Yeah, it's the jersey . He's been having horrible 1st halves for a while now. Cleveland's sitting pretty as the 2nd seed in the East and their lack of motivation is obvious recently.

As much fun as it is to talk shit about Lebron having a bad game, the Cavs really don't need to win this one. If he shits the bed, it's ultimately meaningless.

EDIT: that won't stop me from talking mad shit about the Hawks every time they lose a game because their fanbase is obnoxious as fvck

Bucks are playing a dangerous game right now. They're walling LeBron every time he gets the ball and essentially leaving Kyrie one-on-one. So far, KI's jumper isn't falling at a high rate, but it is a dangerous strategy.

It's clearly a mental thing at this point. He has missed a couple of bunnies at the rim too. He's just thinking too damn much.

On the bright side, Milwaukee is shooting 60% from the field and only up 6.

LeBron didn't start getting aggressive until the end of the third. He had just sort of been laying back prior to that. I think you'd see the more aggressive LeBron earlier and more often in the playoffs and he's just not strong enough yet. Plus, he'd get in serious foul trouble against a more aggressive James.

If it's me, I get a bigger body out there on him. :confusedshrug:

Meh, maybe you're right just from a roster standpoint. You obviously know the Bucks better than I do. My biggest fear wouldn't even be LeBron scoring or playmaking... it would be Giannis getting in foul trouble. He's such an important part of what they do.

It's not a case of guys being "benched." It's just that, if a certain lineup has taken over a game, you don't ruin the continuity by making subs just to compensate player egos. You saw Kyrie and Love both up celebrating with those threes and dunks down the stretch. Once the lead reached double-digits, it made little sense to bring all the starters back in.

Saw no sign of it on the bench. The media would probably try to make an issue where there isn't one, but they've just got to tune out the noise. Letting that lineup finish the game (for all intents and purposes) just made sense from a strategic standpoint.

I thought Kyrie did a nice job tonight of keeping the team close until LeBron went into takeover mode and JR starting hitting rainbows. Love was off for the most part tonight, but his finishing the game on the bench really had nothing to do with that.

I think the guys have pretty much figured out that Blatt is going to do what is best for the team as a whole. If they aren't adult enough to handle it, oh well... but, again, there was no sign of any strife... in fact it was the total opposite.

This team really does seem to like one another, which is quite a turnaround from earlier in the year (prior to the trade). When Kyrie was hitting daggers against the Spurs to will the team to victory, guys were jumping around on the bench. Tonight, when JR was the guy tossing up the haymakers, KI was the first guy up on the bench.

If the Spurs have taught us anything, it's that this is a team game. No room for egos on a championship roster.

The only worry for the Cavs at the moment, apart from the lackadaisical effort is the role of Kevin Love. The problem is that his finishing has been off, and he's a massive hole on defense.
