Situation is as follows. I'm studying in a neighbouring country where average financial status is a little worse than in my country. But there's not a huge difference. But people in this country really believe that my homecountry is really much better than theirs in that regard(financial status).
So there is this girl I'm studying with and she is really throwing herself at me in every way possible. She's pretty cute too. She always says how she wants to go to USA or atleast to my country because people there are ''much nicer''(possible way of her thinking, ''people are richer that's why I want to go there'').

So anyone with first hand experiences with gold-diggers? I've had girls in the past but there was never a situation like this. I know that I could hit and run but I really don't want to do that.

If both countries are in the EU I don't why should would be after you just for the money. She could easily settle in any other country. If you like her date her, if things fall the right(or maybe wrong) way you'll start a relationship, if that gets sour when you don't spoil her yo know what's up.

You're being sarcastic but you wouldn't believe how many Balkan girls think that way. When I'm there studying I get so many questions like ''wtf what are you doing here''? Trying to say that why am I going from better to the worse situation.

Also, I know a guy(and heard a ton of similar stories) who just recently got ''fcked'' so perfectly by a Serbian girl. She was a few years older than him(he was in his early-mid twenties), after one year of dating they got married, then after one year or even sooner she got pregnant and then after the baby was born, 6 months and they were already divorced. She went back to Serbia with his child and she's living a perfect life on his child support. He's really, really rich too, so that was perfect plan by her all along.
