2003's pretty much when those 2 became a known item publicly anyway, so let's make that the cutoff line. I don't think she's made a huge impact on Hov's music, but if you had to choose one era of Jay's music...what do you say? (Post meaning once they started dating to now).

J-Zee was best post Jaz-O to pre Kanye.

Jay's best work was when he became affiliated with Yeezy. So I'd say yeah since they first got together in 2001 and have been at the top of the game to the present.

I think OP meant pre and post Kanye. Jay-Z's became an '"artist" after Heart of The City. Each Jay-Z album is a logical progression for where is at. I wouldnt want another Reasonable Doubt or a Volume 2. Hes one of the few rappers i like hearing because he pushes the genre, sometimes its a miss, but sometimes its a hit i.e. 99 Problems (his best song)

One of the most overrated albums of all time. Its not a Top 20 rap album. Can I Live is a classic though

Gay Z is not the same human being as he was befo.
He is molecularly, physiologically, spiritually, a different human being thanks to the evil corrupt demons bowing down to the unseen Reptilian overlords that threaten to wipe humanity's existence had it not been for benevolent Alien entities like Ellie Goulding who let us know through songs like "Burn" and "Love me like you do" for us to restore our faith and maintain equilibrium through our Kundalini energy in order to impact the universe in a balanced way and restore truth and justice.

Already the filthy sellout scoundrel has naturally exploited mankinds morality with his "Onto the next one" by exuding off false manufactured rays of power (treat women as disposable commodoties and u too can reign!) into impressionable young teens like FigToss with a thorough comprehension of mankinds nature as the ignorant little plebian hopes to silence the truth. But I shall not strike back the poor uneducated easily manipualted chap no no no! Time will be given to him to unshackle him from the chains Shawn Farter intends to place on all of humanity.

that song isn't remotely about women in any way
:biggums: :biggums:
it's about progression in life/music, not living in the past and always moving on to that next money making venture
the very first verse lays out what the entire song is about.

Jay Z was actually one of my favorite rappers from 2001-2003. He fell off for sure after Beyonce. I do love some of his American Gangster songs too.

He never made good music so I can't answer.
Probably before Nas exposed him, the line "from Sean Carter to Jay-Z damn you on Jaz d!ck" finished him.

If Big L was still alive and beefed with Jay Z, he probably would have made up 5 lines that would end Jay Z career in an instant.

Silence buffoon!
You are blind to the deeper layers of meaning behind things!
Do not DARE question your Ruler's Judgment filthy peasant.
It is I who has allowed you access to this kingdom in the first place.
And the other court jester has overstayed his welcome. He'll be silenced soon enough.
