View Full Version : Kevin Love again says "I plan on being a Cavalier"
Hey Yo
03-23-2015, 06:26 PM
He was on the Dan Patrick show this morning answering a few questions
Dan Patrick offered Love a Mulligan, and asked him if he'd do the same thing:
KL - "Same thing."
DP - "The Same way?"
KL -"Same Way."
The money quote. The quote you all came here for though, came when Love was asked if winning a title would increase or decrease his chances of staying in Cleveland:
KL -"I plan on being a Cavalier either way"

Didn't LeBald act the same way before he bolted to Miami?:lol
Love just wants to be able to choose his new destination by his own hands instead of being traded to some random team. Very intelligent move.

He was asked about his plans?
Of course he'll say that.. Might aswell compare it to your girl being angry and saying "okay" to everything.
Look, LBJ said some dumb shit on Twitter, they don't involve him enough and well enough (main thing), I don't blame him... things could change, though.

LeBron Ball is a drug, its an addiction, every NBA player loves it, once they experience it they don't want anything else.
Look at how much Wade and Bosh wanted LeBron back, and how they struggle without him.
Remember Bosh in Free Agency? He didn't make a decision until LeBron did, was literally following LeBron around and willing to join him everywhere.
LeBron has James Jones and Mike Miller on a leash because of LeBron Ball
I expect the same with Kevin Love, he doesnt want anything else except LeBron Ball

He could have very easily said he wasn't thinking that far ahead or it wouldn't matter, just worried about the task at hand.

The media just has a hard time with the fact that the most star-studded team in the NBA and arguably in professional sports will continue to reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
Time to deal with it, fellas.
What's really funny is that the second most stacked team (when healthy) is in Oklahoma City. :oldlol:

The way the contracts work he's probably gonna stay next year no matter what and then make a decision when the Super max contracts come out after next season ends.

Sign a 1 year deal with the Lakers, and then take the super max contract in the city of angels.

These kind of quotes make me laugh because I always try to imagine they are using words to mean something other than you would initially think, and they might be. It's not hard to lie. Cavalier is a word.
Kevin Love will strive to be a gentleman.
Or maybe he will act as LeBron's partner in the dance until he leaves.

Is this the first good team Kevin Love has ever been on?
Maybe he should just shut up and learn. Focus on his game and on winning and see what happens after the playoffs are over.
I'm not sure why he is talked about so much.

In the NBA? Not as much as it used to be. I think the new CBA with it's stricter cap rules helped to disperse more talent throughout the league. Even with that that's more about ownership philosophy rather than market size.
But to be fair, both the Knicks and Lakers have pretty bad ownership issues right now. NBA still has a party night life and a "me me me" culture much more so than the NFL IMO. That factor does hurt small markets when you got high school buddies turned business partners chirping in guys' ears that so and so should go play for brooklyn over playing for memphis or wherever.

If not now, then never. No, there is no distinct advantage.

Yes it is, but nobody on the team likes him so he's going to leave after this season, go back to losing and missing the playoffs again.....allegedly
