Better Off-ball Scorer: Jordan or LeBron?

LeBron is a better off-ball spot-up shooter, trailer on the fastbreak, and better at sealing the man in the post. Jordan is better at moving off screens, and off ball cuts.

imo its close and can go either way.

Lebron only spots up for 3-pointers here - Jordan spotted up WAY more than Lebron does.

I swear you guys have never seen Jordan play at all.

Watch ANY Jordan game - like, the first 5 shots he hits are normally catch-and-shoot.

Catch-and-shoot is a big part of what he does throughout the game... And obviously, he's the greatest catch-and-GO player of all time.

Also, Jordan almost never brought the ball up the court to start an offensive possession... He was always OFF-BALL.

Otoh, the stats show (http://stats.nba.com/tracking/#!/player/possessions/?sort=TOP&dir=1) that Lebron and Harden are the only NON-point guards that dominate the ball as much as point guards.

True, LeBron is already a better finisher, fast break player, passer, rebounder, help defender, 3 point shooter than Jordan.

In terms of game LeBron has Jordan beat in many categories which people do not like to admit, so I tried to be objective and make this thread in a neutral perspective where I said both are about the same in terms of Off-Ball Scoring.

However if LeBron is also better at Off-ball scoring than Jordan (which is Jordans greatest skill) than that would be downright embarrassing for MJ, as its not even a big strength for LeBron, just another of his many talents.
