Turner drops a triple double tonight and the Celtics are pushing hard for that 8th spot.

Turner, much maligned, is averaging 9, 5, and 5 and has become a solid all around player.

NOT A BUST.

Evan Turner is your classic case of "jack of all-trades; master of none". He's really about average at best, despite his talent. No different from Lance Stephenson, who is the same case (who happened to lead the lsague in triple doubles).

Besides, look at his numbers that whole year and then look at some of the players that were drafted after him. Bust as a #2 pick. He can still contribute to a team, just not as what he was hyped to be.

Evan Turner is in his 5th season where he avg 9-5-5 on 42% shooting. His jumpers only shot % is 39%. He was the #2 pick in the draft. When guys like Wall, Cousins and Gordon Hayward are producing. It's hard to take 9-5-5 serious.

Not only is he in his 5th season he played 3 years in college. 8 years of bball and we are talking about 9-5-5. :roll:

Never want him on the 76ers again he is a cancer who has terrible body language he almost single handedly sunk the pacers by himself last yr but they got wise and benched him

I actually like Turner...He can handle, he can pass, he rebounds, he's pretty smart on the court....His jump shot is kinda broke but he can score...He just doesn't need to be your leader...A good 2nd/3rd option....
