I am actually surprised to see Westbrook at #1, Paul/Curry are the more likeable guys in the media's eye, and have the better records. but I guess the voters didn't care about image or team wins.

I think we all know Paul/Curry/Westbrook are in their own tier, but I didn't expect Kyrie to be 4th over guys like Wall/Lilard who are the leaders of their team.

What's your take?

Westbrook at #1 :oldlol:

Is there a more overrated player in the league right now?

I think I'd rather take NBA executives, coaches, and players' word over a random guy on the internet

100% agree. I would have been iffy on Lillard being #5 at the start of the season but I can't think of anyone good enough to knock him off based on how the season has gone.

I'd have Wall over Lillard. And I'd have the 4/5 spots a tossup between Irving/Wall.
Westbrook at #1 :oldlol:

Please explain why him being #1 is so laughable.

You would think a Spurs fan would be more respectful of the guy who torched your team and dismantled your HOF PG...

The difference between GMs, coaches, players and fans? Fans have the luxury of sitting back and saying, "Well, this guy obviously isn't a Top 5 'point guard' because he averages 5 assists a game." They don't have to go out and defend against what a guy does best.

Meanwhile, the GMs, players and coaches have to find a way to stop him. They don't care about nitpicking which statistics are important and which are not. All they know is that Player A is damn good at his job, whatever it may be relative to his team.

:applause:

i know westbrook isnt a classic PG and has his flaws, but imagine defending that guy, so relentless and unguardable. even when he has an off shooting night( which happens alot), he will still put up 20/30 points and a double digits rebounds and assists.

one name that i think is missing is john wall, who i think that is more of a team oriented PG, strong passing and good/great defending. usually i put him above irving/lillard, but i can see nba personel putting those guys above him, just due to the superior scoring skills and clutch ability.

This type of lists are 100x more worth than whatever list ppl write in ISH.
