How many rings does mike win?

Remember, jordan was 1/9 before the arrival of big brother Pip.

So 0-1 ring is my guess.

Damn. MJ's been retired for over 12 years and he still dominates the minds of the ISH frontpage.

He truly was the greatest :applause:

it depends on who replaces Pippen.
let's say it's someone from the same draft:
David Robinson, Reggie Miller, Derrick Mckey, , they still win 6.
Polynice, Kenny Smith, Kevin Johnson, Mark Jackson... maybe 3?

if they do the Pippen for Kemp trade... maybe 4?

The funny thing is that Wade is a top 50 player and probably top 30
And bosh will probably get into the hall of fame
With riley overseeing everything
And Ray allen making the most crucial shot of the heats run

And they still won the title as many times as they lost it
Won 2 lost 2, then lebron once again saw greener pastures and ditched
I mean cmon all that talent and they won only twice!!! The same as those mid 90's rockets and bad boy Pistons
They were never a dynasty... The Bulls won 6 with MJ and pip.. Don't make it sound like lbj and MJ had equal success with lbj having lesser talent.. MJ won 3 times as much with marginally better talent

Now I think lebron is great but you walked into this one

So we can reasonably assume that Popovich is also overrated/not an all-time great? His record without Tim is 1-7.

See how terrible your logic is?

Take away top 25 Dwyane Wade and how many rings does LeBron have? 0 - 5 ... As opposed to the stunning 2 for 5 record he currently owns.

Bulls would have still been 1-9 against those teams they played that year even with a prime Pippen added to those teams.

How many rings does Lebron win?

Well, LeBron would win in 2011 for SURE. Wade also didnt do much in 2013 (measly 15ppg) so thats another win, and without Wade's 2014 Finals sabotage thats another win for LeBron

So LeBron would have 3 rings, 3 FMVP's and be 3/5 in the Finals

Wade: 234 minutes, 61%TS, 11%TRB, 28.7%AST, 2.1%STL, 3.6%BLK, 10.4%TOV, 30.2%USG, 120 ORTG. 22.7 GMSC.

Lebron: 262 minutes, 54%TS, 10.6%TRB, 28.8%AST, 2.1%STL, 1%BLK, 19.5%TOV, 22.9%USG, 102 ORTG. 13.7 GMSC.

in case you don't know what GMSC (gamescore) is, it is: rough measure of a player's productivity in a game. 10 = average performance. So Lebron is slightly above average in the series, while Wade is worth more than 2 average players.

Wade beats Lebron in every stat except in AST% which is only .1% less. Think of it like this, Lebron was looking to pass on every possession and he still only ended up with the same assist rate as Wade, while wade was way more aggressive to score. All this while playing almost 30 minutes less than Lebron.

look at their turnovers. Lebron was twice as likely to turn it over than Wade, you want the ball in his hands even more?

Well, i'm assuming MJ gets to replace Pip with another 2nd option.

and there are TONS better 2nd options than Pippen - here are a few: Magic Johnson, Kevin McHale, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal (to Wade), Kevin Durant, Lebron (to Wade)...

Hell, with any of these guys, MJ wins at least 7 rings - I say at 7 is the floor, because he gets the same 6 he had with Pip, plus he makes the Finals in 1990 without Pip's ECF epic choke job (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=367910)... and with a superior #2 like Shaq or Magic alongside him, MJ wins in 1990 and probably every other year of his career tbh.. :confusedshrug:

Jordan wouldnt win a FMVP if he had any other player than Pippen, who was the perfect fit for MJ.

MJ would be a Rip Hamilton, Celtics Ray Allen, or Manu Ginobli level player playing with true greats like Shaq, LeBron, or Kevin McHale as the 1st option
