Who has one of these?

Who's paying for the service?

is this the true cable cutter?

Have it on kodi (fire tv equipped)
I'll rate it 2/5 stars.
No, don't cable cut for it.
You'll also need to update the links you use they go down.
Big ****ing headache. It's nice if you have an extra TV but no. Not meant to be a cable substitute.

Also, kodi has Navi X, you can find channels there.

Doesn't AT&T U-Verse use the the IPTV tech?

Something that has sparked my interest is Sling. It's essentially an App for watching live TV. Costs $20 a month for limited channels. If they manage to add a few key channels to their lineup, it could be a game-changer.

My bro in law was telling me about a company that offers a service that's based on servers. He was showing me a quick vid and it was basically a device running the software and he was getting almost every channel imaginable.

But what are the cons to having this?

I've had a jailbroken Apple TV and I used to hate iceFilms NaviX and other plugins always going down, slow buffering times, incorrect metadata etc. So I was hoping this service might be better.

So far most of the info that I see is from self made XBMC add-ons.

Does anybody have the 'service' itself? apparently you get all premium channels, all basic channels and it also works like Popcorn Time.

The only live TV that has an impact on my life is sports. Otherwise, everything can be watched streaming or downloading.
