Well, he's right to an extent. You conduct this poll in Japan and you will find that 99.999999% of Japanese date within their own race while 95% of the white people there date interracially. That's an extreme example due to the lack of diversity in Japan, but maybe you understand the concept of what shlevie is saying with that example.

Anyway, a less mentioned aspect here is the emphasis on study. Doing well in school and more importantly being devoted to studying and studying A LOT every single day is normal in Asian families. But all that attention to study takes away from the other aspects of life.

For a girl when it comes to dating, it's not that important if she's a little behind socially. She doesn't even have to be attractive, as long as she has a ***** the dating will come towards her, aggressively. For average looking guys though, that social ability that you develop at 12-19 years old, interacting with the opposite sex, learning the game, developing your personality. That's vital when it comes to attracting women.

a lot of it is because of western culture. the world in general is very influenced from our movies, music, and tv shows where a lot of them will name people like that thor dude, hugh jackman, brad pitt, etc. etc. as their perfect guy. they're into rap a lot these days too, so they'll be more into black dudes and how they act, which i see a lot more azn's who act and dress that way. its funny how nobody in America gives a shit about anyone elses culture but thats how one sided it is, and how ignorant most of us in America are about how big our entertainment industry is by and large, and just how much of a impact it has socially.

with that said, i think kpop influence has already started to change things a bit with ugly white chicks at least. there's a lot more white girls into azn dudes now than say 5-10 years ago~ also kdrama's and other movies with azn's like Rain in Ninja Assassin has white girls more into them, like megan fox was digging him.
