Who is the greatest north cali team of all time?

It's close but Kings win 4-3

Webber will dominate

Bogut will consistently be caught flat footed with the supreme passing of the Kings whole team.

Christie could put the clamps on either Steph or Klay

Peja would probably get locked up by Klay/Green

Very close though. Both teams are top defenses

Can't even compare the two until the Warriors get close to the finals.

Divac is going to dominate Bogut while Webber will be the inside defensive anchor to stop Steph and Klay's penetration.

Peja puts the clamp on whoever he's guarding. Christie scores at will against Klay's so called great defense, while Bibby puts Steph on skates on offense and locks Steph up in D.

Not to mention SAC had a deep bench.

Is this a serious post?

2002 Kings until we see how the 2015 Warriors handle the playoffs.

The only logical answer.

Yes, the team with the #1 defense AND offense in the league, with the best point differential since the 96 Bulls wouldn't even put up a fight. Not even a fair comparison tbh.

none of the above...the 1975 warriors, obviously.

Wonder what team you'll be wagoning next season.

To be fair I've seen Hcent repping the Warriors since the shady days.

Truth does burn, sorry bud.

Would be great to see Curry try to score on Christie tho and the way Webber would just demolish Green/Lee would be jizz worthy.

I still stand by my words

Sacramento nearly beat Prime Shaq and Frobe

Scratch that

They SHOULD have

That's two top 10 all timers on the same team

Warriors
67-15
+10 Point Differential (Highest since '97 Bulls)
MVP Curry
#2 Offense
#1 Defense

Warriors may not be as top heavy as the early 00's Lakers, but you have to admit that Golden State is a more balanced team with better role players.

How about the '01 Lakers vs '15 Warriors? Who you got, OP? Note: You can't choose both.

Shameless bandwagoner!

Agreed

The starting 5's feel eerily similar yet still obviously different

I feel like C-Webb is the problem for GSW

4-3 Kings

Yes, there are alot of similarities for both teams. Both are deep and balanced, both pass the ball very well, both have top 5/10 players in Curry/Webber. But I like the Warriors because of their defense, Golden State has a handful of players who are considered elite/very good defenders. Sacramento only had one in Christie.

Bogut is clearly the difference that stands out for me

Both are very skilled passers yet Vlade wasn't the rim protector Andrew is

I can't remember but the Kings were still a top 5 defense that year if I'm not mistaken

Might more be a reflection at the state of offenses during that time more than anything

Which is still surprising because like you said, Christie seems to be the only elite defender on the team

Bobby Jackson and Pollard were considered good, if not great, defenders. It's just they came off the bench, so they didn't get the pub/rep.

But back to the necro'd OP. My friend asked me this same thing the other day. I'll still pick GSW in 7 b/c they do have more good perimeter defenders.
