Similar thing happen to me wasseem. Talked a little more to this girl during a summer internship I had. I knew who she was throughout high school/middle school. We never talked. I will admit, I felt instantly attracted once we talked. Different personalities for sure, we were way different but got along. We had about 20-30 convos our first term senior year. It was obvious I was crushing on her. I found out later she didn't have feelings for me but I still smiled and said Hi to her in the hallway. I'm just happy I at least tried, I used to instigate conversations. Never directly asked her out because before I did, I heard that she wasn't into me. Nonetheless, I don't regret it. Just getting to know her slightly better was fun.
