3 more years. Kobe won't carry them there. Once they dump him they should be able to stockpile some good draft picks and sign a few vets to get them there.

In five years everything will likely look different for the Lakers. For the moment tho they will continue like the rebuilding process that it is. Theres going to be at least one more year of major suckage.
