Rookie seasons aren't the be-all, end-all of gauging how well a player will do in his NBA career.

Remember Tyreke's rookie season? We all thought he was gonna be something special. Didn't pan out but he's still a solid player.

Remember KD's rookie season and his +/- ratings up until I believe his 3rd or 4th season? Seriously, compare their rookie seasons. KD put up a lot more shots, and that's seemingly the only significant difference in their stat lines.
