These 2 are prolly the Lakers and Celtics of college B-Ball...of the past 5 drafts the # 1 pick goes on as:
2010:John Wall-Kentucky
2011:K.Irving:duke
2012:A.Davis-Kentucky
2013:A.Bennett
2014:A.Wiggins:
With Towns(Kentucky) or Okafor(Duke) prolly being #1 this year...... Meaning if you play for either one of these 2 you're chances of getting a good pick in the draft.
But when was the last time we saw an MVP from one of these two colleges??
Hell, two of the best big man prospects from kentucky in recent years Demarcus and Anthony Davis...have never even reached the playoffs FFS. :facepalm

Wiggins went to Kansas.
LeBron, Rose, and Durant have won the most recent MVPs. Are you suggesting only HS, Memphis, and Texas players can win MVP?

I agree. The Knicks should draft a High Schooler....

.just saying the hype surrounding these guys is stupid...Cousins and Davis have had plenty of time to adjust...but can barely crack the 40 win mark...yet alone a playoff berth

John Wall is an arguable top-5 PG, Kyrie Irving is a top-5 PG, Anthony Davis is a top-5 player (playing at an MVP level, only knock is team's record). Just because they haven't had much team success yet doesn't mean they're overrated. Give them time.

Anthony Davis is overrated? What GM wouldn't take him #1 in a draft the past decade, knowing how he's performing as a 21 year old?

Without LeBron...Kyrie-led Cavs are 2-9
Putting up impreesive numbers on consistently losing efforts are known as "empty-stats"

Kyrie also set the Cavs scoring record with Lebron, leading them to an OT victory.

What's their record without Kyrie post-trades? It's still much too early to write him off as overrated, it's just his 4th year in the league. Just because he's not a generational talent like LeBron shouldn't automatically render him overrated.
Didn't he have a 50-point game against the Blazers without LeBron where he also got the win?

STFU this is going to be their league in 10 years when all the playoff stars of today are old or retired.

Empty stats on a team with plenty of talent. Kinda like Love in Minny except he had no talent.

Kyrie, Davis, Wall and Cousins are 4 of the best young players in the world

Davis is one of the best around.

Doesn't translate to Ws either :oldlol:
I really love the Love vs. Davis comparison. They both go hard in the Box score but KLove had a much worse team and yet he is "empty stats" while people credit Davis with "full stats"
Timmy D for MVP

You've only got 3 of the NBA's best players who are only just going to get better. So...

So only colleges that have an NBA MVP are not overrated?
Here you queer:
Davis 24/10/2
Cousins 24/12/3
Wall 18/5/10
Bledsoe 17/5/6
Knight 17/4/5
Kanter 15/9
Jones 12/7
Meeks 11/2
Kidd-Gilchrist 11/8/2
Noel 10/8/2
Rondo 9/6/8
And Randle.
Average age on that list is about 23? Probably 21 if you took out Rondo.
Very overrated.
let's be real, in 2013 Noel was going to go #1 if it wasn't for injuries while Jabari Parker was the #1 pick for most of the year.

If you think Love is in the same stratosphere as Davis then you're deranged :oldlol:

its different teams, and they are very different players
people taking comparisons too far

Well yeah, Anthony Davis plays defense.
