View Full Version : What rookie are you most excited for next season?

Exactly what the title says. Not who you think will be best, not who will have the best career, but who you're most excited to witness personally.

For me it's a toss-up between Embiid and D'angelo Russell. I see so much Manu in Russell it's not funny. The quick lefty 3. The crafty passes. The handle that's just slightly high so it dares you to try and reach and pulls you slightly off balance.

Embiid is an enigma. How much outside shooting will he do? Is he going to be strong enough to throw guys around? He could be the next great big, but we just don't know because we've seen so little of him in a feature role.

So....whoever they get in the 2nd round after they lose their pick?

No one because the pick will end up going to Philly:oldlol:

Well, if that happens, that would be the rookie I would root for. Hopefully that is not the case though.

Whoever the Knicks pick. Anyone else will just be heartbreak if they become a superstar and the Knicks don't draft him.

Although I have to admit I am intrigued by Mudiay especially since no one has seen him. Someone said in his highlights he looked like Westbrook mixed with Chris Paul :oldlol: You don't trust highlight videos for that reason, but I wanna see how that translates. Does not mean I want the Knicks to draft him, as I'd rather have one of the 2 dominant bigs.

I'm going to start trashing Frank Kaminsky on the internet so he falls out of the lotto and the Wiz can get him:roll:

He's not quick!!!! Look how white he is! Guaranteed bust for sure! Will get a GM fired if taken in the 1st round ;)

He'll be interesting for sure.

You know I'm just playin with you bruh. Division rivals and all. Magic front office won't be drafting any stars anyways, so it's a moot point.

Jabari Parker.

I don't care if he played this year. Next year is still his first year to me.

Since I don't usually watch the NCAA, Hezonja and Porzingis. Mario is one of the best european talent in years and Kristaps have massively improved in the last months.

I totally underestimated Sammy Dagger as a prospect. He is finally starting to play like the guy we expected him to be this season. When he's in attack mode he's a matchup nightmare. Built for the NBA...strong, explosive, smart, ice cold killer. I was really happy with his predicted draft range...21-23..which would put him in either Chicago with Thibs/Noah/Butler and those guys, Dallas with Dirk/Carlisle, Spurs with Pop/Duncan/Manu..Sam is a fantastic system player and he would be a beast under that development. He's probably played himself out of that range though.

Rondae Hills-Jefferson is the guy I can't wait to see. This dude will be a stallworth defender from day one. Just hope he can keep his game going when officials call tick tack fouls on him.

Kevon Looney after two NBA years though will be amazing.

As a Knicks fan it kinda makes me sad that we won't be keeping the pick b/c I would love to see the raw talent of Okafor/towns and see him grow. Instead we get Cousins, a media whore drama queen scumbag

No question. It's Embiid.

But whoever else the 76ers draft in the first 4 will be pretty exciting too whether it be Mudiay or Russel. If they fall to 6th, they could take Hezonja or Krytaps.

Imagine if the Lakers pick falls to Philly at no. 6 ,and the 76ers also have another top 3 or top 4 pick. Wow!:applause:
