Title, one for each contender/ playoff team.
It's actually quite hard.
Obviously some teams don't have one player who's proven in the playoffs.

East playoffs don't count, so only western players are eligible.
Top of my head:
Durant
Paul
WB
Spurs system
Kevin Durant

Tim Duncan
LeBron
Pau Gasol
Struggling after that.
Also, to contemplate a career second round loser like Cliff being proven is, to quote RZA, fcking ridiculous.

Yes. And there is more chance of Milwaukee winning it all than Dallas if Rondo is playing 30+ MPG. If he isn't, then they have a chance, in which case, Dirk is on the list.

He's just asking for a proven player on each playoff team.

Not sure on those two.
For their capabilities, I think these two should of achieved more with what they've had.

Say what you will about rose not having great numbers while carrying the offense against a top 10 player ever, a top 25 player ever and another probable hall of famer, while in his 3rd year and only being 22
But this guy Ramps up the intensity and doesn't fear the moment
His first playoff game ever he tied Kareem for most points by a rook in his playoff debut with 36 and 10, also made clutch shot after clutch shot before ultimately losing to Boston in 7
His next year against the cavs he had real good numbers with the 8 seed Bulls
And then his 3rd year, led a comeback against a pesky pacer team while hitting the two clutch shots and delivering go ahead game winning assist,
In game 3 he hit the game winner to put the series at 3-0 and out of reach
Against Atlanta in game 3 he hit his career high of 44 against the Hawks
And game 5 against them, he and taj gibson took over down the stretch
Yeah they got wiped by miami next round, but realistically what 22 year old could take down 3 of the best players in the league, while assuming the huge bulk of the load?
Lbj certainly didn't in 2007 against the Spurs, MJ couldn't against the 86 celtics... The list goes on... You can rag on the guy for not having a good statistical series.. But the guy kept attacking miami.. Even when they were trapping him immediately at half court, if anything it shows the expectation you put on rose. Which ultimately is a compliment
Also injuries are such a bitch....

Easy to trap one player, when the rest of his team can't shoot to punish clogging the paint/focusing defense on him and nobody outside Rose could create their own shot or beat guys off the dribble.
Good post. :applause:

Depends what you think Dwight is/was capable of.
I don't mean from a year outlook, I just mean if he raised his game to an Olajuwon level he could realistically of lead that Magic team to a title.
But as we know, Howard's limitation has always been his assertiveness and consistent killer instinct in games. His clownish attitude hurts his ability to get serious and really knuckle down.
Howard last season realistically had a team capable of winning a championship. But as the story has been for him, he doesn't put a dominant imprint on the game on a consistant basis, due to the mental aspect.

How are people listing Parker and not Kawhi?
Parker is a .518 TS% player in the Playoffs, and the Spurs literally perform better when he's on the bench.
Meanwhile Kawhi has been ELITE in each of his three Playoff runs. His defense alone is more valuable than everything Parker does or has done.

What do yo mean? I was thinking Lillard and Aldridge. When you drop back to back 40+ point games on the road I think you prove a lot. When you hit a game winning shot to end a series you've basically proved you are as clutch as they come.

Lillard's at 50% so far in his playoff career for shits taken on opposing franchises, so he's up there imo.

Apparently you have to do it alone. Averaging 27-7-8 is not enough :facepalm
