Man who cares about these MVP awards? I wasn't aware this whole board were player stans where they obsess over an individual's accolades. As a Knicks fan, I wouldn't give a shit if Melo was in contention for an MVP award or not, especially if they were in contention for a title. Win shares is one of many advanced metrics (and by no means the most predictive one) so I wouldn't agree with that methodology, but its still better than how some posters on here try to determine who the MVP is.
