It'd be ideal if he could get a few regular season games in before the playoffs start, but the most important thing is for him to feel completely comfortable before he steps onto the court in game action. Don't want him doubting himself or hesitating. If he's giving it his all in practice, going hard and his stamina is there then he should give it a go.

My guess is that he'll come back on the 8th against the Magic. That will allow him to play the last 5 regular season games before playoffs begin.
