Yep, cause the East of Bird's Celtics, the Bad Boy Pistons, the Ewing Knicks and Shaq/Penny Magic is really similar to the powerhouse East of today

And the funny thing is that this East is much tougher than what Jordan faced

the double standards people do :oldlol:

Jordan was making the playoffs on teams that went 30-52

Can you imagine LeBron only winning 30 games and no one blinking an eye? Or any East team making the playoffs with only 30 wins.

No wonder Jordan ended up 1-9

East in the 80s/90s was full of great teams and competition, unlike today.

Not to mention the mid to late 90s Pacers, the Price/Daugherty/Nance Cavs, the Nique Hawks and the Zo/Hardaway Heat.

OP is a fakkit

Magic Johnson played in a West that was probably weaker than today's east

Jordan played 18 regular season games, as he was out with a broken foot, how convenient that you'd leave that out.

:biggums:

The East was top heavy you idiot, GOAT teams like the early mid 80s 76ers, early to late 80s Celtics and mid to late 80s Pistons along with some really good squads like the mid to late 80s Hawks, the late 80s Cavs and mid 80s Bucks. You're an idiot if you think Bran leads the 07 Cavs anywhere near the Finals from 80-90. :facepalm

MJ went 1-9 his first three playoffs series because he was going up against GOAT teams full of HOFers like Larry's Celtics with a cokehead in Woolridge and Brad Sellers as teammates. Aren't you the dudes that bitch the most about having legit teammates around Bran for him to compete, that's what you fggots were saying during the last Finals :confusedshrug:Bran would've gone 0-9 against that competition and with that talent around him. Proof? The 85-86 Celtics > 13-14 Spurs. Now surround Bran with worse help...

Sit down, son

I'm not disagreeing but when a 30 win team can make the playoffs, theres a problem

top 5 seeds won 46+ games with C's winning 67, Bucks winning 57 and 76ers winning 54

7th seed was 39-43, conference back then only had 11 teams, so only 3 missed the Playoffs. You only needed 35 wins to make it in the West, so there's not that much of a difference. League was more top-heavy and guys weren't running from one team to another in the 80s. Different era.

Yeah but I Just said that the East was top heavy, 2 or 3 legit contenders, add in a couple of more good teams and a bunch of mediocre clubs. Out west it was basically just the Lakers sprinkled with Houston in the mid 80s and Portland in the late 80s...
