Arguably the GOAT perimeter season of all time
Shot 57%
40% from three
Hit game winner after game winner
Fastbreak so lethal, literally the shaq of perimeter players
Runner-up in DPOY, defended 1-5, shutdown Al Jefferson one game, David west the next night, then Tony Parker the other time
Won a championship with Wade and Bosh not even close to their averages
27 win streak
Had no elite inside big which most championship winners do...

It was better post season but regular season this one takes the cake easy

His 2010 regular season is better and his 2009 overall year was also better. Championships =/= better player.

From a team standpoint, yes 2013 would be considered the better regular season, 66 wins, the 27 game win streak etc. But, I'd argue LeBron's 2013 regular season was only slightly better than his 2012, while his 2012 postseason was clearly better than his 2013. That's why imo 2012 > 2013

I'm not arguing that
57% shooting WITH 40% on 3.5 attempts is unheard of
His 12-13 regular season was GOAT level stuff

List of 2012-2013 perimeter players that shot less from the perimeter than Lebron:

What ether? Both had nothing to do with any kinda of perimeter.
I think you wanted to say goat fastbreak layups season.
You are getting wrecked again.

Yet they still couldn't stop him
Stopping a fastbreak is relatively simple, no?

His regular season this year is up there with pretty much any in NBA history. This was the only time in his career where I felt he was a legit threat to possibly surpassing Jordan. What he and Miami were doing in the 2nd half of the season was ****ing scary.

Definitely. How the Heat were only 1 Ray away from losing the finals is beyond me. Shouldn't have been a close series at all with how stacked they were.

57% shooting WITH 40% on 3.5 attempts is unheard of
but Lebron only took 17 shots per game, so 57% is not that impressive - kobe, mj, wade and others have never taken so few shots.
for example, how much do you think MJ's 54% field goal percentage increases in 1988 if you told him to reduce his shot attempts from 24 per game to Lebron's 17?
it's intuitive, so i wouldn't lose your shit over 57% when it was accomplished on an abnormally low number of shot attempts - and you saw how such a suboptimal strategy got obliterated in the Finals..
Even if Lebron had WANTED to increase his shot attempts in the 2014 Finals and be like Jordan - he wouldn't have been able to switch it up on a dime like that, because he'd been playing it safe all year.
Btw, the highlights in the OP video demonstrate how athleticism thrives in today's wide open lanes and touch-free defense... So if Lebron's sheer athleticism can do that, imagine what MJ's athleticism AND goat skill would do.. I shudder to think..

This was the year they slooted him in the PF position right? I actually prefer him in that role :applause:

lol
OP:
step 1 - brag about goat perimeter season
step 2 - post video full of dunks and layups on wide open lanes
step 3 - gets wrecked
still had to start off from the perimeter..

The point is it wasn't him was it? It was Wade tossing the man alley-oops and running the break with him. What happened to Bron's FG% when he left Miami again? Why do you think that is exactly?
(i'm not expecting a logical or coherent response, so surprise me).
