MDPPE
(Most dominant perimeter player ever)
When he gets a full head of steam nobody can stop him. Literal freight train.

in term of physical power vs his opponent this is true
it is the shaq of sf

He was 80% on layups aka 0-3 ft
That is shaq level
I doubt any other perimeter player even comes close. Durant and MJ and Wade would likely be the closest

Durant comes very close but he doesn't have the same volume at the rim as LBJ

Agreed, they both quit on their team but at least LBJ stays in shape.

To some degree, that's true.

Both ran off to join some of the greatest players in the league, on multiple occasions. Shamelessly trying to catch up to Kobe in rings. LeBald hasn't done it as many times as Shaq yet, but i'm sure he'll surpass him by retirement.

First Jordan, then LeBron
Jordan wasn't as unstoppable driving to the hoop
Especially on the fastbreak

running people over is not a particularly useful basketball skill.
it doesn't result in the best performance or the most winning.

MJ was the better fastbreak scorer, but Lebron is actually better at filling the lane.
Seriously, filling the lane on the break is one of the two things that Lebron does better than Jordan... Defensive rebounding is the other thing (MJ was easily the better offensive rebounder).. :confusedshrug:

yes this is truth power isn't the most important basketball skill,if shaq or james didn't had that power will not have been in top 10.
but that can be said with jordan,if he had the athletism-power of ginobilli i didn't think that he could have done all things

Or just take away Pip. Back to being first round fodder.

Jordan isn't in the discussion because outside of 3pt shooting, he was elite at everything
Guys like Lebron and Shaq have these GOAT dominance in one scoring facet that no one else comes close to
