Who here remembers the John Wall hype? He was unanimous number 1 pick, everyone thought he was the next big thing. I remember talking with my homies and they were so hyped on John Wall but I told them I would pick Cousins number 1.Cousins had limited minutes and had obvious attitude problems (an espn pre-draft scouting report said "Cousins has the worst body language out of any player I have ever seen") but in the minutes he played he produced and you could see a big strong body who paired it with great coordination and he played very hard. Wall did look great in college but very big men that have a large skillset are too rare to pass up on. I was sold out of Kentucky for DMC #1 Pick.

How does that draft class look now? What's their ranking? What if Evan Turner never broke his back?

Evan Turner is and will always be garbage. He's literally useless if he doesn't have the ball in his hands, and if he has the ball in his hands your team is going to win 40 games tops.

1. Cousins
2. George
3. Wall
4. Favors
5. Hayward
6. Monroe
7. Bledsoe

Funny that Wes Johnson and Ekpe Udoh were picked so high in that draft, what complete losers :oldlol:

I think George and Cousins are 1a 1b to be honest

Yeah it's pretty close, I think Cousins gets a slot over George though. I don't know that you could find a GM who would take PG over Boogie in a vacuum.

Yeah I'd put Hayward over him too. Kind of drunk when I made that list lol

Although I'm not sure I'd put Monroe over Favors, he's been great this season - dat PER :biggums:

I knew warriors had no chance at cousins but watching him go the pick before to the kings and then getting Udoh...that was brutal

I'd go Cousins one, Wall 2 and then George 3, although I completely understand people that have George 2. I just think Wall still has room for growth and even now he's terrific. Cousins has top 5 player in the league potential though and I definitely think he's the most talented player from that class. The only reason he wouldn't go one in a re-draft is if you're worried that his attitude would lead to a blow up or some shit like that.

Evan Turner is just another Dion Waiters

both should just go play in the Euroleague or China.

:lol @ anyone that still wouldn't pick Wall #1

Top 2 passer in the NBA (with CP-3) one of the best finishers and slashers in the league, good defensive PG, one of the best rebounding PGs in the league, all while scoring 17-20 points a game.

Plus he's a leader and isn't a mental case. Lets talk when DMC actually leads his team to anything more then 35 wins and the lottery.

Paul George lead his team to the playoffs twice, one of them having the best record in the East. Both times appearing in the Conference Finals.

He went head to head with LeBron both seasons and took him to a Game 7 and 6 respectively. He's the best two way player of the bunch. His skill set is more prone to team success in this era than Cousins' low post game or John Wall's passing.

1. George
2. Wall
3. Cousins

It's really cute about you guys' love crush on Cousins even though he has yet to reach .500 in one season. Adorable.
