From 2008 to 2014... LeBron James has won the MVP award 4 times in 6 years.

LeBron won in 2008, and 2009.

The next year, Derrick Rose goes down and has never been the same again.

LeBron wins 2 more times.

If it weren't for Derrick Rose winning in 2011, LeBron James would of made NBA History for most consecutive MVPs.

In 2013, Kevin Durant wins. Kevin Durant being LeBron's biggest rival also playing the same position finally passed him as best SF and best player in the world.

The next year, Durant goes down.

Fast forward.

Steph Curry is about to win the 2014 MVP. A guy who suffered from injuries before, and was considered injury prone finally putting it all together.

I seriously hope that the Warriors win the championship this year. I don't want Curry to be another what-if.

Let's pray he even makes it to the finals without sustaining an injury.. LeBron's voodoo witches are after his ass.

Don't forget Kobe and Nash. Only Dirk defeated the curse.

huh??? He missed plenty of games from 2012 to 2013. And right now he's just a shell of his former self.

Dwight Howard was 2nd in MVP voting that season...not Lebron.

Dirk only missed a lot of time in 2013. This year and last year he played almost all games and in 2012 he missed 4 games.

And he may not be the same guy he was in 2011 as he's old but he's still a good player, an all star. Lebron's voodoo didn't hit him.

I will add the Spurs as unaffected, Lebron got out of dolls with so many objectives (Pop, TD, Kawhi, etc)
