A tie between shaq/penny orlando magic or more likely the olajuwon rockets now that I think bout it , since they already won chips in Mj's abscence,he would have tagged along with either of those teams easily .

Knicks...... It always used to amaze me how Knicks always used to give bulls problems even though they didn't have close to the amount of talent the bulls had.
Having lebron on those Knicks team would balance it out.

Dude would be completely out of place on the 90s Knicks. Not exactly cut from the same cloth as a Charles Oakley or an Anthony Mason :lol

Him on that Knicks squad would be tough, imagine those series against the bulls.....
I don't buy this bs about him not being able to survive in that era due to physicality, he's been plenty tough over the course of his career.

pacers were more physical on defense than spurs and yet lebron had better stats and better games against pacers than spurs in both 2013 and 2014.
for a guy like lebron, physical defense might give him problem for a possession or 2 till he figures out how to use his own physicality against defenders. i am not even kidding when i say that lebron would be top 3 all time wing defenders on my list if he played before the rule changes. he is not even in my top 10 all time wing defenders right now. lebron isn't as small as MJ.
lebron himself would give some physicality back if played against bad boys with those rules. it would be even harden to constant throw lebron to the floor like they did with mj. it would take a toll on them too. i am sure lebron would bitch about it just like MJ used to.
players take advantage of the rules that are present. reggie was pretty tough even though he flopped. manu and CP3 are both very mentally tough players and they both flop.

This is good. But the Suns and the Rockets were nice as well. They were doing the spacing to the 3pt shot and taking a advantage of it more so than any team in the early 90s. This would let LBJ do his thing. He would have shooters with both teams.
With the Suns, it would probably somewhat similar to the Cavs right now, but Barkley won't be misused like K.Love is today. Kevin Johnson is better than Kyrie Irving, but I feel like he'll get the short end of the stick. He'll do the most of his damage with shooters like Dan Majerle and Ainge on the floor, and Barkley to clean up the mess. Even before Barkley went there, it would've been a nice fit for him with Jeff Hornacek and you could have Tom Chalmers playing the stretch 4.
The Rockets is like da fit for him tho. They already surrounded Hakeem with shooters and had good defense to the boot. They have Horry playing the stretch 4, Kenny Smith and Maxwell at the 1 and 2, and Hakeem at the 5. It's almost perfect for him I think. But they probably won't be as fun to watch as the Suns.
So, I feel like the Suns, Rockets, and Blazers are the perfect fit to him. The Cavs won't be a bad fit either, but the Warriors would also be super fun to watch. That starting lineup would be insane except for the 5. Mitch Richmond, Chris Mullin, Tim Hardaway, LeBron James (at the 4), and Alton Lister at the 5 with Don Nelson as the coach? Whew.

Does it matter really? By the mid 90s, he's calling Jordan every night begging him if he can convince Phil to trade Pippen for him so they can make a big 3 and win 8 supposed championships.
