is it something to be proud of or is it a stain on the resume?

Being an Olympian alone puts you above 95% of all other athletes. And I'm not just talking about regular athletes here. I'm talking about ELITE athletes. So having even "just" a bronze medal puts you on an even higher level.

A bronze in basketball for Team USA is a complete embarrassment, not a single person on that team would tell you they are proud of that result.

Anything but Gold is a disgrace.

:biggums:

Tim Duncan is one of my favorite players of all time.

Not his fault he was playing with the And-1 mixtape all stars and not an actual team.

We should not speak of this. One of the darkest moments of recent American history.

why did you post this then?

Because team USA winning the Bronze medal was a national embarrassment. That's why we needed the Redeem Team.

^Look at how proud and thrilled they look to be the 3rd best team in the world. Losing to teams like Greece.

But somehow you took that as I hate Tim Duncan? Talk about a reach. :oldlol:

In a single game elimination tournament, upsets happen.

On the flip side, #1 seed teams are 120-0 against 16 seeds. There's never been an upset ever.

And He also hated and struggled under the FIBA Rules. Lebron gets the blame in the 2007 NBA Finals defeat. And as far as I remember he hated Duenas of Team Spain after he scored multiple basket against Tim.

Read the article. He quit playing for team USA cause he dislikes the FIBA rules.
