The Bulls shot 50% from the field and attempted 31 free throws that game.

I giggle at the thought of there being people who still believe teams played defense before the new millennium.

Cool, great comment and observation  Even watched?
I can also say that the Bulls, in that same year, only scored 87.6 PPG on 43.7 FG%, with 18 FT's per game, vs the Pistons over the course of 6 games in the ECSF... How about that? :confusedshrug:

Explain to me why league's average DRtg has been more-or-less the same since the 1980's? And ofc that it's harder to play good defense against great offensive teams playing just as that, a team... Ask the 2014 Heat, they made the Finals in this era and got a historic beat-down, one for the ages; talk about no defense played, huh? :lol
Must mean that the 60's/70's are the GOAT defensive era also, huh? Or just worse offense? :confusedshrug:
Obviously also harder to keep the pace down against teams that like to run; more of that, on average, back then... FG% also increased as league's average pace decreased from the 70's into the 80's, though...

Very confusing stuff wouldn't you say? Just a little train of thought, or not.

Shit, you must've never even watched much, at all, from those days... Don't know why I even bother

Oakley was a great fit for the Bulls. Too bad for him he got traded for the Knicks and with that he went ringless.

4:44 Phil Jackson accidentally punched Doug Collins
8:30 God move by MJ on Isiah

Those were the days:
