I was considering putting Pierce on Melo, since he holds him to lower percentages when they play eachother.
Lebron seems to shut him down more dominantly though, but he only gets spot duty on Melo (most of the time it was Battier).

Magic - I'd say Dennis Johnson instead of Pippen... Not saying Scottie didn't do a great job but DJ guarded him plenty of more times (5 PS series) and Magic said he was the best defender he ever faced.

Jordan - Payton played the best D against older MJ but Moncrief did the best against young - mainly rookie - MJ. And you got Joey D (with the Bad Boys) too.

Bird - Michael Cooper probably did the best work vs Larry on the perimeter but many times Bird took him down-low then killed him there and on the boards (like in the '84 Finals), so Coop needed lots of team help there... but I'd probably say him yea, I believe Larry said it too.

Kareem and Wilt - Nate Thurmond... You could definitely say Russell for Chamberlain as he was "stealing" all them rings but Nate the Great was probably the best in terms of 1on1; the GOAT post on-ball defender in my book. Moses also gave Jabbar lots of trouble on both ends.

Didn't Barkley say McHale ws his most difficult matchup? Guess that's on both ends combined though. For Shaq it's probably Ben Wallace. Rodney McCray used to play great D vs Adrian Dantley.

I'd like to note that Curry being defended by CP3 isn't entirely accurate. Much of the time he's doubled really hard, but yeah, I think CP3 is one of the better defenders on Curry.
