I think people forget how bad Bron's performance was in those finals. You were basically looking at another 2011 until Ray Allen hit that shot

Some star players have to take the last shot. Not everyone has Ron Artest save the day. And before you bring up Ray Allen, LeBron carried the Heat to tie the game up. Kobe shot a pathetic 6-24. Absolutely carried by his teammates.

Miami was in a double digit hole going into the 4th. LeBron with Chalmers, Birdman, Allen, and Miller brought them back. Kobe was carried, and has zero significant playoff moments in NBA history.

Yeah, Prince. LeBron's career numbers against him up to 2012: 32 games, 23.9 ppg, 44% FG, 27% 3-PT, 6.4 rpg, 6.3 apg, 1.5 spg, 2.8 TOV.

Depends. If his team is up by 20 points, I don't think there's anyone in the league who can stop him from stat padding.

lebron's defense and offense were 90% the reason heat won game 6 and 7 which were the elimination games. in game 6, miami's spacing went to shit once wade came back into the game when miami had come back from double digit deficit without him.
people forget but miami's spot up shooters were cold for most of the series making it very hard to attack the rim as paint was too crowded which is the reason why diaw was on lebron. triple double in game 6 and 37 in game 7 means that the plan didn't work.
lebron also had a good game 1 but parker hit a clutch difficult shot to win that for spurs.
lebron had to swtich from kawhi to parker whoever was hot at that time. wade was steal happy after 2012 and couldn't guard parker. same for chalmers.

Before Rays 3 the Heat made 2 shots the entire 4th quarter that were not scored by Lebron....and Lebron assisted on one of them. He was hardly just along for the ride.

Heat would have been eliminated from the Playoffs.

2 turnovers, missed 2 out of 3 shots (the one make coming off a missed 3 that his teammate rebounded and threw back at him) in the last minute of the game. Let's not also forget how Parker shot a huge 3 in his face with 1:28 remaining and how Kawhi missed the FT that would have put it away.

Lebron gets credit for bringing them back, but he's also the reason the Heat ended up being down 5 with 28 seconds to go. The win ultimately didn't come down to his play, but rather his teammates rebounding his bricks and Pop subbing out Duncan and Kawhi missing a FT + Manu having his worst Finals game + Parker being injured.

Not to mention that he was garbage in the first 5 games, and they would have probably lost in 5 if Wade doesn't go off in Game 4.

But yeah, Bran totally carried the Heat and we witnessed the most dominant NBA Finals of all-time :coleman:

Pippen.

But his present day comparison, Paul George, got schooled in the clutch by Lebron multiple times two years ago.

But Pippen is smarter so he wouldn't overplay Lebron like George did.
