Doesn't apply to this case but "rape" can have a different definition in some areas too. There's a bangladeshi cricketer who was dating a high profile actress, they broke up and she filed a rape case with him because he promised to marry her and didn't. I think the charges are dropped now but at one point it looked like he was in trouble (plus the western media now thinks he's a rapist) when the actual crux of the case was that in their traditions if you have sex with a woman consensually and say you will marry them then don't that can be considered rape.

Well some islamic countries have messed up laws but that's the government's fault. And some villages have outdated messed up traditions/rules but the same can be said of african tribal villages that practice the same kind of discrimination and other tribes/small villages with their own customs. Your post is just insensitive and stupid as are most of your posts. Not all people who follow Islam follow barbaric laws like this and a lot of the muslims you see in western countries have left them original countries because of their governments but you wouldn't care about that because you are a bigot, racist and misogynistic who should have been banned long ago.
