Who's taking the 8 spot?

Most likely going to be the Pels.

Thunder are playing AGAINST the refs + opponents for the rest of the season. Not good. League wants AD in the playoffs so bad.

OKC's looking rough recently. I think Westbrook is tired.

Pels got a tougher schedule but they're playing pretty well.

Pels Warriors would be a much more interesting 1st round than OKC at GSW at this point.

I think Westbrook could carry them to the 8th seed. I'm sticking with OKC not even looking at the schedule. It would be boring if Pelicans made it because Golden State would surely blow them out of the building each game. At least with OKC we get to see Westbrook chuck away and possibly own on Curry.

On the flip side, we could see AD in the playoffs

The Pelicans are probably a better matchup than OKC.

Unless Ibaka comes back.

:biggums:

okc would get their scrotum's kicked in hard. Pels might win a game.

Remaining schedule for each team:

Thunder
vs Kings
@ Pacers
vs Blazers
@ Wolves

Pelicans
@ Grizzlies
vs Suns
@ Rockets
@ Wolves
vs Spurs

Pelicans look like they have a much tougher remaining stretch than the Thunder. In the end, I feel OKC makes it, but just by a sliver. I would actually rather have NOP make it over Thunder just because they match up better against the Warriors and bitchboy Curry

Unless Ibaka comes back.Curry/Draymond high PnRs forcing Kanter to switch onto Steph would get pretty old fast. OKC just doesn't have the defense with some of their recent additions to keep it interesting imo.

I however would be excited to see AD's first playoff appearance. Would have never guessed they'd have a shot post ASB. Rox and Sixers both rooting for those picks to convey in best case scenarios haha.

I'd bet Thunder get in over Pellies right now though. Need to look at schedules, but it may come down to the tie breaker.

nice schedule for okc. It'd be nice to rest Westbrook for that kings game but who can you rely on to carry the load?? Westbrook just needs to have another good stretch of games and Okc should seal their fate. Pelicans schedule doesn't look very friendly to me either.

Pels have a chance if any of those teams decide to rest their players, for sure the Spurs will rest Duncan/Ginobli/Parker.

Awesome. I hope it comes to that.

Pelicans have the tiebreaker, which very may well be what it comes down to. I would think that OKC will win 3 out of their remaining 4 with that one loss coming to the Blazers. That would put them at 45-37
Pels should beat Suns at home and Wolves. They then need to win just one game out of Grizzlies, Rockets and Spurs to have them finish on 45-37. In this scenario Pels would make it due to having the tiebreaker.

It's very possible that the last game of the season means nothing to the Spurs (if they clinch their best seeding possible already) and Pop rests the starters

Possibly. I highly doubt they go into Memphis tomorrow and win after tonight's game which only leaves Rockets and Spurs. Last time they played Phoenix they lost by 2 in Phoenix and that was without Davis so I'm confident they can take that one.

OKC will probably lose to The Pacers as well.

I would rather see Pelicans and AD have his first playoff run...

Just feel that Westbrook would try and do too much every single game... Dont want to see him get hurt trying too damn hard

Remaining schedule for each team:

Thunder
vs Kings - WIN
@ Pacers - LOSE
vs Blazers - LOSE
@ Wolves - WIN

Pelicans
@ Grizzlies -LOSE
vs Suns -WIN
@ Rockets - LOSE
@ Wolves - WIN
vs Spurs -WIN (Pop will rest his squad this game)

this is how I see it...Pels get in, and even if they lose 3 and only win 2, they own the tie-breaker over OKC I believe.
