Spieth will probably tie the record unless he eagles 15, I don't see him going -1 on 16-18. But who knows, he's throwing absolute darts out there.

So sad to see Tiger lose his mojo.

Tiger going all Happy Gilmore atm, this guy is so finished :lol

Also despite Spieth playing arguably the best round I've ever seen in Masters competition up to this point, that was an unbelievably bad bogey from his position after the tee-shot.

Tiger says, "Tiger....you dumbass" as he proceeds to put it in the tree.

Tiger is still floating in the middle of the pack though.

Playing on Saturday should count as a success for him at this point.

My dad put a bet on Tiger because of the crazy odds.

Guess it isn't working out for him.

Spieth was 2nd last year and has been on fire the last few weeks. He is going to be tough to beat.

I used to play competitively and it is really amazing that he is so consistent at such a young age.

He was a 25-1 favorite, that wasn't great at all given his play of the past 2 years. Honestly it should have been more like 100-1

I doubt that.

Money is not everything and its just a lame cop out for the unmotivated.

He has a chance to make history in his life and I think that is what is important.

I guarantee you Tiger is miserable with what he has become. The only person to ever truly influence Tiger was his father and I'm sure he realizes what a disappointment he has become in his fathers eyes if he were still living. Additionally, Tiger's entire purpose in life was to break Jack's record. He's likely never going to achieve that now. He got sidetracked believing he could do that while living the baller life, instead he completely fvcked himself over. Just like Jordan, I guarantee you MJ would give up all of his money to be able to play ball again at his prime.

Jason Day will be in contention again, as he usually does in majors.

Tiger has been okay so far, and "okay" is a lot better than people thought he would be. -3 today, -2 overall.

Spieth is pretty much set for the green jacket now. Barring huge collapses on the weekend, only Charley Hoffman can challenge him.

Tiger is the only golfer I know with personality, so I never pay attention unless the news is showing that he near the lead.

Kevin Na with a nice -6 today. The +2 yesterday killed him, and with Speith just going ham, it looks like it'll be tough to come back from.

Tiger has actually played well, I was damn sure he would miss the cut with something like 74 & 75. If he hadn't butchered the par 5's, he would be at 7 or 8 under and in contention.

Spieth still has a LONG way to go. I see him shooting something like 73 or 74 tomorrow and Johnson, Mickelson, or Casey will probably shoot 67 or 68. Johnson must be back on the coke, he eagled 3 par 5's today.

Haven't been paying close attention to this but Phil at -12???

Damn. Not the guy I want on my ass going into Sunday, especially if I'm a 21 year old geek who can't even grow a beard yet.

Jordan is gonna choke this thang away just like Rory did 4 years ago at the same age.

Spieth is probably the most consistent young golfer in the circuit and he has shown that today.

Oh, and Spieth is about to break Tiger's record at Augusta as well.

Rose had a chance to pick up a putt, possibly two if he birdies 16? 17? When Speith had a lie off the green. Missed birdie and settles for par which Speith went up and down on.

Great performance by Speith though.
