The common misconception is that players cower at the idea of playing with Kobe due to his ultracompetitive nature, says Barnes. But the onus is actually on the front office, Barnes recently told SI.com

The organization has gone to shit, even a blind man can see that.
Hiring D'antoni, the Nash trade, 4 year deal for Nick Young, so many things makes my mind numb just thinking about it.
Dubeta's IQ is at least twice that of Jim Buss, talk about a complete incompetent imbecile.

Jerry Buss kept the Lakers relevant for soooo long...is Jim a closet racist? Maybe that's keeping players away..?

Barnes is a clown. He had no problem with LA's front office in the off season of 2010 when he signed a 2yr deal for 4mil to come off the bench..
He turned down the Cavs offer of 2yrs 7mil that same year to replace James as their starting SF. Just shows that he'd rather ride the pine for less $$, than be an everyday starter for more $$. Safe to say Kobe didn't like him.
and LOL @ his quote about Kobe
He’s not a vocal leader. He just expects you to play as hard as you can every minute on the court, like he does.”

You sound like a clown. Jerry Buss was in control in 2010. Now Jimbo is stepping where he shouldn't. People don't hate Jimbo they just know he is incompetent

Doc was barley in control. How many very good to great Free agents have signed there in the last 8-10 yrs when Doc was still considerably healthy?

They won 5 titles and made it to 7 finals in the last 10 years he was healthy. Where are great free agents gonna fit into that mix?
Technically, I'm pretty sure Kobe, Shaq, Pau, Bynum Odom all resigned with them.
Seriously we're listening to Matt Barnes now? this never ending fu*k up has a voice now :lol

Kobe is not the reason why big name FA's don't want to come get over it.

Barnes soon learned what type of teammate he inherited on the plane ride to a 2010 preseason game. Barnes saw Bryant feverishly writing diagrams on a scrap of paper and asked what he was doing.

Then why don't they sign big named Free Agents?
Why didn't Dwight return? Why didn't Nash bother trying to return? Why didn't Lebron or Carmelo even bother making Los Angeles a destination this past offseason?

Technically, I'm pretty sure Kobe, Shaq, Pau, Bynum Odom all resigned with them.Wasn't just the players, Dr. Buss pretty much made that organization understand how important it was to win and to be successful. He helped them develop a winning culture year after year until it was normal to say losing is unacceptable. Honestly, everything went to shit after the Chris Paul deal. Odom left, Dwight and Pau ended up leaving, Nash ended up being injured every year, and important role players ended up leaving while the Lakers couldn't pick a damn coach to stick with.

Hmm, That's easy.
- Dwights a soft bitch(Like what Barnes said, don't play hard and Kobe don't **** with you)
- Nash is old and Broken
- Lebron wasn't going anywhere but Cleveland(Why this is still being mentioned is ridiculous)
- And Carmelo wanted the Money

Jim Buss
Why didn't Dwight return?
Jim Buss chose D'Antoni over Phil Jackson
Why didn't Nash bother trying to return?
How can someone return when they complain about back pain after every game? :oldlol:
Why didn't Lebron or Carmelo even bother making Los Angeles a destination this past offseason?
Melo was offered more money to stay home and LeBron has a stacked team at home.
