5. classic margarita (blanco, cointreau, and lime juice... none of that bullshit sours mix that you get at most bars), straight up no ice

*as far as beer goes, its:

3a. IPA... the more hoppy the better... Stone Ruination is the best I've had
3b. other kinds of pale ale (philly, america, etc.)
3c. crisp, light beers (lagers and pilsners)
3d. a thick, rich chocolatey stout or porter

Absolutely no beer brewed with weird shit... fruit, spices, whatever... gtfo. no wheat beer either (blue moon, hoegaarden, etc.)

For real. I don't think there's any liquor on Earth as disgusting as gin. Tried a classic dry martini once. Worst $7 I've ever spent.

Definitely bourbon. Any Kentucky straight bourbon I can get my hands on really. Knob's Creek is good because it's 100 - 110 proof and not too expensive. I've got a 2014 Four Roses single barrel limited edition bottle that I haven't opened yet. Waiting for a special occasion.

I appreciate a lot of beers, but prefer stouts and porters over IPAs. Favorite beer of all time, it's like sipping a little slice of heaven:

yo... Booker's is ****in mean. I got a bottle of that for my twenty-first birthday... had no idea what I was getting myself into. Back then I wasn't familiar with adding a little water. Certainly would have helped me deal with that monster.

Lagavulin is islay. It's... an acquired taste. For me, nothing beats it. If you're not really into scotch, you're better off with a highland than an islay. Add a little water to open it up and subdue some of its pizzazz.
