I know he said he didnt plan to, but just curious if he even can at this point or if its past some sort of deadline.

Obviously Ray's a great player we all love watching play, I think itd be cool if he signed somewhere for the playoffs. Maybe Cleveland or something, I dunno, wherever makes sense for him. I just hope wanna see him back on the court!

Deadline was somewhere in March. Can't recall the date.

Maybe March 1st, so Ray is definitely ineligible.

Nah, that deadline is for players that have played for another team this season.
He can sign before the last regulatioon game and be able to play in the playoffs, ala Tracy McGrady afew years ago with the Spurs.

I mean if he signs with the Cavs, I think thatd be pretty cool. Wherever he wants, really doesnt matter to me, just wanna see Ray play!

Sign with the Cavs, Ray, if thats what you wanna do! Just come on back and play for someone. Cavs, or one of the pretenders, whoever makes most sense for you and your family.

LETS DO THIS!!!

And I think that's when Ray announced he wasn't playing this year.
