Stockton's very good but not elite on defense, despite his all defensive selections.
Baron Davis...wtf.

He wasn't a PG though, he was a SG.

He wasn't a PG though, he was a SG.
He is classified as a PG mostly in basketball-reference.
Anyway, if he doesn't make the cut...Gary Payton!!! how could I forget about him

All right then fair enough...he's certainly better than the Glove, though I like Payton too.

Oscar
Frazier
Stockton
Debatable
CP3 - asinine playoff argument
Payton - offensively elite
Kidd - not sure he was ever both at once
West - was he PG or SG?

Walt Frazier
John Stockton
Gary Payton
Fat Lever
Oscar Robertson (never heard much about his D though, also got CP3 and Kidd, I consider West more of a SG)

Sorry Curry is not elite defensively, nice try though. His team has 2 of the top 5 players in DRPM. I'm not saying he won't but he doesn't deserve to be on this list.

Lebron entered the league as a PG and plays like a PG. If Magic can be a PG don't see why LBJ can't. Its not like Magic defended the PG position anyway he mostly defended the 2-4 like Lebron did anyway.

Dude, I saw Baron play on the Warriors and I watched every painful year he had with the Clippers.
There was nothing elite about his defense. He was streaky as f*ck on offense too, so I wouldn't really consider that elite either.

shit defender foh
elite assists, rebounds, points
magic played an nba finals game 7 starting at centre so going by the true definition of 'complete' Magic Johson is unique here all coz he could play any position on the court, he had a far more 'complete' skill set and physical attributes combined with the intangibles such as being competitive and having a winners mentality and being a leader of men
dont get me wrong, the other guys mentioned are greats and they do the specific task of playing the PG role really f@#$in well but if we're going strictly by definition of 'complete' then Magic should be considered the most complete PG in the games history

Anybody that doesn't have CP3 on their lists is an idiot. He does everything you need from a PG on both ends and more. I've even seen the Clippers put him on KD, Harden, Kobe, Wiggins at the end of games to stop them and be temporarily successful doing it.
He's also one of the only PG's who guards the other team's best PG EVERY night. He runs an offense better than anybody in the league, defends well, rebounds well for his size, and he's a leader. Stop being a f*ggot for once and recognize how great he is.

Payton
Frazier
CP3
D Will
Fat Lever (arguably the most underrated PG of all time. Got the injury bug right when he was building HOF caliber shit.)
Westbrook, Big O, Stockton, Kidd, Billups, and Dennis Johnson were also guys I considered.

Forgot about Magic, pretty much implicit though... Yea, his defense was bit above average at his very best there but shit, take his 1990 season for example: Scoring 22.3 PPG, dishing out 11.5 APG, grabbing 6.6 RPG, 1.7 SPG too, had tremendous impact on the offensive end, his defense wasn't bad; could take it to the cup, very good in the post, shot 89% from the FT line and 38.4% from 3pt land, hit open mid-range J's very consistently...
I mean, that's amazing and very all-around.
Frazier was a legit 20 PPG scorer, very good rebounder for the position, could pass/playmake, was smart and unselfish, pretty efficient, great defensive player top2 for the PG position.
Lever is a top3 GOAT rebounding PG, pretty good passer/defender/scorer.
Payton's probably the GOAT defensive PG, dude could score and dish it very well, good rebounding PG too.
Stockton is a top3 all-time passer, gritty, good defender, pretty good scorer, very good shooter.
Big O was a walking triple-double machine, nough said.
