Dragic shot 4-11 when it mattered and was not effective until garbage time when Aaron brooks was guarding him, so sure wade blew the game, but goran wasn't great until they were down 12 with 3 minutes left and just guarding the three ball.

Wade has had 2 bad games and suddenly he's done and not the man anymore. The Games vs Indy, Pistons, etc and the month of March Wade was the best player on the Heat and giving the most effort. Now it's 2 Games later and he's done, he should be a 6th man, and Dragic is better, etc. Dragic didn't play well either until Garbage Time. :oldlol:

Agreed with the first comment just think people are overreacting to the last 2 Games.

Most of the games have been important the last month or so and he's played well in most of them.

Those games in March weren't meaningless and Wade played excellently in most of them. The Heat were fighting for the playoffs then, as they are now. Every game has mattered for a while now. But yes, Wade laid eggs the past two games.

Wade struggled, but let's not forget to credit Tony Snell who played him as good as anyone I've ever seen. Backing him up was Captain Kirk too who knows Wade inside and out. It wasn't that Wade didn't drive...he simply couldn't on Snell. Jumpers and bricks left and right. He couldn't post Snell up either cause that dude seems long as heck. What is he like 6'8 with a 7+ ft wingspan? He's slim in profile so Wade couldn't simply out quick him also. Reminded me of Danny Green on Wade. Wade was lucky his jumper was falling in 2013 or else the outcome would've been like 2014 too.

Wade's lack of 3 point shooting is really hurting the team. Goran driving baseline always gets open shots for shooters, but no one can knock them down so why try? No versatility to the offense at all. It was pick and roll alley oops to Whiteside/Birdman or pull up twos only. Now it's raw Whiteside displaying post moves as last resort. Not to mention, Goran's skill set isn't the pass first type. He plays with instincts so finding cutting Wade and Deng rarely happens. I rather see Wade post up with Deng cutting and Goran spotting up as the go to formation. Finding a cutting Deng would open up so much for Whiteside. Wade gotta stop it with his fadeaways. More triple threat patience instead of trying to blow by instantly off the catch. He aint sneaky anymore. Snell wasn't going for the pump fake...why not catch and see what Snell was going to do and stop dribbling so much?

And then on defense, the starting line up is slow as hell besides Goran. The second unit was hustling and making plays that game with quickness...reminiscence of the big 3 defensive scheme. Wade plays no D. Not contesting. Not fighting over screens. Basically just switching on every screen messing up the rotation. He shows no fight, and I know it rubs off on his teammates.

The Heat clearly miss Bosh/McBob. Tall guys who can shoot and provide length that Haslem simply cannot give. Goran would be much more effective with Bosh. It's sad that it can't happen this season and maybe even next.

All and all, I feel like this is Wade's last first option season and it's sad to see injuries derail him and this team. I think the fans deserve to see him give 100% once more this post season. Wade vs Lebron needs to happen too and it doesn't even matter if the Cavs sweep. He can recover all he wants next season with the full squad back.
