That is merely a myth. It all comes from Curry. Let's not act like these players are really that great. It's one MVP level player and a bunch of okay to good players. Klay is still inconsistent, and we don't know what everyone else will give you night in and night out in the playoffs.

Literally, not a single one of those players has legitimately done anything noteworthy in their career (except for Livingston's injury).

Have any of you watched those other players dribble the ball? Whenever the game gets close they still rely on Curry to create that hockey assist, assist, or score. Their second best one on one creator is Barbosa.

The Warriors have a good team, with good roles, and a good coach. Curry has had a wonddrful year and been a huge part of their success. That doesnt mean without him they disintegrate. There a good team.

Speaking of that, arent the Rockets known for having scrappy, over-achieving role players. Didnt they pull off the second or third longest winning streak ever (at the time) a few years ago when McGrady was out and then Yao went down 11 games into the streak or something?

Just look up some posts from last season. People were calling Barnes a complete bust. Iggy was an overpaid shell of his former self. Bogut was an unreliable injury-prone player. Draymond Green was just a 2nd round hustle player.

It's hella unfair to call this team "stacked", when you compare them to what a true stacked team was (Bosh, Wade, Bron, with proven role players like Allen, Haslem, etc) or the Thunder who had ridiculous talent in Russ, Durant, Ibaka and Jackson. Even Memphis with Conley, Marc and Zbo has more proven talent.

Curry is clear MVP because he has taken average/good/unproven players and made them household names.

That threesome has won 3 playoff series, and lost 3 others going to 7 games. They have proven they can compete when the postseason comes. They are more proven than gs. But that is just talking about the past which might not mean shit in 2 weekx
