I'm the dude that if I was balling with 9 people I didn't know and I missed my first shot ( maybe even if I made it haha) dude's aren't gonna pass it to me again.

That's probably why I decided to get good at D because people expect a certain skillset and I don't have it. So, when I was playing with people I didn't know, I'd just pass and play D. Until the end of the game, then I'm shooting unless we got someone who is money.

But yea it's usually like... silence... when I go in for a crazy lay up or 'post move.' I can't even get excited (unless it's a clutch shot) cuz people are just like yea whatever, garbage.

On offense, I play like Rip Hamilton. I'm Rip, but white and a foot shorter. My off-hand is garbage so I can't really handle the rock, but I get open and I kill it from midrange.

I play defense like Shane Battier. Not super athletic, I don't gamble for steals a lot, and I don't get a lot of blocks, but I stay in front of my guy and contest everything. I really am a very good defender. I guard the other team's best player unless he's too tall.

The most noticeable thing about me is that I'm extremely clutch. Anyone who's played more than a few pickup games with me knows this. I can't explain why, because I really don't know, but somehow I am just money when it's at-or-near game point.

The most recent pickup game I played was with three strangers. They were younger, more athletic, and a little bit taller than me. For most of the game, I was struggling to hold my own. I f*cking hit like 11 straight shots to come back and win the game. Pulling off moves I've never even tried before... like I did the D-Wade right-to-left eurostep into one-legged jumper. By the time it was game point, I was in such a zone that I just jacked it up from five feet behind the arc, even though we only needed one. Those kids will never forget me.

I always patterned my game after Drazen Petrovic & Reggie Miller (offensively)... which at my size / playing point-guard made me more similar to something between Mark Price, Steph Curry, Steve Nash... obviously not that good lol... but yea, around that size, tight handle, pure shooting/range, passing.... jumpshooting is my strongest skill & will though.... i am the most happy when i play of ball / SG, gives the freedom / excuse of having just one priority... shooting... :)

im not selfish necesarily, i just dont have great court vision, and I am at my best just driving to the rim, and shooting mid range jumpers when the defense sags off me.

Most shooting guards arent good passers, or atleast dont get a lot of assist/passing opportunities.

Maybe the more accurate comparison is an average sized point guard who gets to the bucket, good passer, but bad defender. Plethora of those.

I like to play point forward on offense usually setting up more people than looking to get my own shot. Not the best shooter, but not terrible, and quite athletic so do most of my scoring working towards the basket. I have a good post game from being a short 4 in HS. I don't have killer handles but very fundamental with the ball so I don't turn it over often.

I like to defend the other teams best player, I wouldn't have it any other way. People keep talking how clutch they are on offense, I'd say I'm that way on defense.


Thinking about it, Draymond Green would be another good example just with more ball handling usually.
