Draymond impacts a game as much as anyone and might be the best, or at least most versatile, defender in the NBA. Dude guards points guards and a second later he's on the block defending the opposing C down low. Shoots the 3 well. It's a golden age for 3&D guys.

This makes sense if they're drafting Towns. Greg Monroe is really underrated. He's a good triangle fit and is a legitimate 20,10 and 5 PF. PG isn't as urgent a need because they're running the triangle.

A 16 and 10 guy who is a really good passer is an asset in the triangle. He'll make a lot of people's job easier. His defense isn't terrible. He's a better defender than a guy like Kevin Love. Greg Monroe is also only 24 years old. The team who signs him is going to get a player in his prime.

Building around Monroe is pretty laughable, if they can get him for less than the max though it could be a good signing, he's a good fit for the triangle.

I have a lot of faith that the Knicks will botch this somehow though.

Bargs won't be on the team. They hate him, like personally hate him. Early in the season when they thought he could have helped he basically wasn't "healthy" enough in his mind to play, when he was fine. No chance unless you are talking minimum salary guy of him being on this team next year.
