Too bad I won't have anymore rivalry banter with Done and Done this post season.

Glad that the Canadiens won. Tampa needs to go away.

BurningHammer
05-09-2015, 11:16 PM
In all seriousness, Ovechkin vs Stamkos should be a greater headline for ECF for overall viewers.

The last ten minutes of the Rangers game was just :eek::(:eek::party:

Almost every bar I've watched a Montreal game here in Vancouver there is an allegiance to the Canadiens from the blacks.
I wonder if it stems from PK Subban or Montreal being Canada's premier party city?

I'm interested to see which Tampa team emerges from the tunnel tonight. Even in the last game that Tampa won, Montreal outplayed them. The Canadiens have been the better team the past 3 games

The Curse of Alexander Oveckin continues, losing in an overtime to Rangers even after guaranteeing a win before the game.

Rangers win (by one), and the Ducks win. That's what I like to see.

My pool is looking good. I got Anaheim and NY Rangers to go to the Stanley. The ducks to win it all.

So Leafs are really getting Mike Babcock as their newest head coach, signing for a record 8-years deal.

Those disgruntled Leaf fans can shut up for quite while now that they just got a "perfect man" to handle their team for quite a while.

8 years is a long LONG time to commit. Even if he rights the ship fan desperation alone will have him out by 5.

The only place that even a head coach with such a great resume like Babcock won't last long is Toronto. Hell, I thought Burke and Carlyle would be able to stay around til today.

Exactly. Toronto is the most demanding city in the NHL. If you're not successful by a 4 year tenure prepare to be ousted

They almost choked this one away though. Blackhawks are very resilient folks.

That because Andersen let 2 softies in. His first bad game of the post season.

Chicago almost choked away both games they won, the series could easily be over.

Bolts got one up in the 3rd. It will be fun at the last minutes.

Bolts did handle their 1st line quite well though.

I'd be surprised if Tampa won. I'd like to see it happen but I'm doubtful.

BurningHammer

Why they have 2-days break til game 2 on Saturday? Just because NBC wants Belmont Stakes as a lead-in?
