Cavs tank. They don't want Indiana.

Was expected, LeBron isn't playing

This is the same team that went 2-9 without LeBron, today's game proves that's not an aberration

if the celtics slip to the 8th seed, watch out Atlanta. Not saying they could win, but that would be a fun series.

Boston clinched the 7th today.

No they didn't....they are in the seventh currently, they will clinch a playoff spot (7 or 8) with a Pacers loss tonight..

Wrong.

Bucks clinched sixth. Celtics magic number is one for seventh. Nets magic number for playoffs will remain two.

With a Pacers loss, Brooklyn can pretty much win 1 out of their last 2 games and secure the 8th seed instead of having to win both games. The Celtics are a lock for the 7th seed imo...

I agree, i just think that an Atlanta/Boston series could be tight and better TV.

No doubt a tank from the Cavs but nonetheless a good win for Boston, should make the postseason.

How is it a "tank"? :oldlol:

The Cavs earned the right to get rest by winning 50+ games. They'd be scratching and clawing to win if it meant anything at all to them. It obviously doesn't. I know it sucks for teams on the bubble... I've been a fan of one of those teams that was knocked out of the playoffs by a good team phoning it in in the last week of the season.

But, it makes sense from the Cavs' perspective.

Thanks RBA. For the Nets to end up 7:

Celtics would need to lose out (vs Raptors, @Bucks)

Nets win out (vs Bulls, Magic )

So it's a figurative lock that Boston clinched the 7th.

Yeah, it's very likely the Celts finish 7th. Stevens has done an awesome job. He's my COY.

For playoff purposes, here's a quick recap of the Cavs-Celts season series...

Nov. 14: Cavs W Celtics in Boston, 122-121
March 3: Cavs W Celtics in Cleveland, 110-79
April 10: Celtics W Cavs in Cleveland, 99-90
April 12: Celtics W Cavs in Boston, 117-78

Season Series: 2-2

March 3rd game the only one representative of the current squads. Which does not bode well :oldlol:

Clear tank from the most manipulative superstar in history.

One would think that playing in the east would be help enough for Lebron...but no.

Must make sure to play utter garbage in the first round. It's a tressured tradition for him.

We still need either one more win or a loss from Pacers or nets.

I saw that March 3rd blowout coming.. Lebron had just choked against Houston with free throws and Kyrie was back from a short injury time. We'd just lost to GSW after being about 25 up. Just wasnt a good lead up lol.

But IT did play, both teams had full squad in that one where we got belted. I would prefer Hawks really, havent had a belting like that from them at least.

Edit: No Sully
