Everyone's got some sort of curiosity about death otherwise videos like these wouldn't get share around the net and go viral. I like to know how shit can go horribly wrong, it gives me a feeling of better preparedness.

Key word was "how"
Self preservation is an instinct yes, but our brains don't automatically know "how" shit goes wrong.

Do you need to watch someone get hit by a car to tell you not to get hit by cars? This should be a given.

Like I said, my curiosity compels me to want to know how people have died. What does it look like to get hit by a car, or shot, or fall from a really high place or whatever. It isn't just about "death" actually it's about any kind of accident or dangerous situation. What do planes look like when they crash. What kind of damage can tsunami's do, or earthquakes, or tornadoes. It gives me peace of mind to have SEEN what a car does when it wrecks not just have it remain some big mystery. Seeing videos of this shit actually happen makes me feel more prepared.
I don't want it to happen to me, nor anyone else. But if it ever did, knowing a little bit ahead of time could one day save my life, or someone else's. If you don't feel the same good for you. But I'm one among millions watching videos like these, don't be popping off like people shouldn't have this curiosity it is very natural or this stuff wouldn't exist and get viewed millions of times. To be honest I think you're the one being strange for not understanding why people would want to watch this.

Why are you making it out like it's some huge mystery on what happens when two cars smash into each other at 100 miles per hour? You should be able to figure it out on your own. I don't wanna make accusations but I can't help to think that getting some sort of sick thrills is either more or at least part of the reasoning for watching these videos.

So you were born into this world with acute knowledge how the human body responds to the complex physics of advanced machinery smashing into thousands of pieces after colliding with things. You know exactly how it appears and don't see why anyone would want to watch it other than a "sick thrill".
:oldlol:
not one person goes running over to see if there's anyone in need of assistance
everyone stands a safe distance away because it's so bad you don't need to go look for survivors

Over-complicating things. I think after a highs school physics and anatomy classes you could piece together the rest. Guess that's just me though. :confusedshrug:

These videos give me a perspective of how stupid I was.
I use to push my car on public roads to 135 mph. :facepalm
Fortunately, I have reflected on how stupid I was and I won't be doing that anymore unless on a race track.
