The Blazers will not hold home court no matter what. The only team they can catch is the Rockets, and the only way the Rockets wind up in the fifth spot is if they finish with a better record. The Blazers are locked in the fourth seed and will not have home court.

Remaining schedules:

Grizzlies: at Warriors, vs. Pacers

Rockets: vs. Pelicans, at Hornets, vs. Jazz

Clippers: vs. Nuggets, at Suns

Spurs: vs. Suns, at Pelicans

Blazers: vs. Jazz, at Thunder, at Mavericks

Relevant games Sunday: Pelicans at Rockets

No. 7: The Mavericks are locked into the 7th seed. They can't move up or down. They'll win whoever comes out of that bloodbath described above. They can start resting starters.

No. 8: The Pelicans got their backsides handed to them Wednesday vs. Memphis but kept a lock on the 8th seed due to their head to head tiebreaker over OKC. Both teams won Friday. Here are the remaining schedules.

OKC remaining: Pacers, Blazers, Wolves

New Orleans remaining: Rockets, Wolves, Spurs

In their final three games, the Thunder face two teams they should beat and the Blazers, who are locked into the fourth seed and will likely be resting players. The Pelicans, on the other hand, face the Rockets battling for the 2-seed, the Wolves, and San Antonio -- and who knows what they'll be doing.

The Pelicans likely have to find at least two wins out of those three games. That seems pretty tough, but then, we've counted them out before and here they are.

I think it will finish like this:

1. Warriors
2. Spurs
3. Clippers
4. Blazers
5. Grizzlies (home court)
6. Rockets
7. Mavs
8. Pelicans

Some epic 1st round match-ups. Clips/Rockets and Blazers/Grizzlies headlining.

I think an important one they missed... Is that if everyone wins out, but Houston drops 1, Memphis gets the second seed

With all due respect, how do you expect to win it all when your bench loses every lead.. We saw how bad that can get when the Spurs played Okc last year.

Faith. :oldlol: That and the reemergence of Blake in playoffs (who hasn't come close to playing his best basketball yet this season). Also Paul playing like the dominant floor general he has been in the 2nd half of the season.

Crawford needs to step up. Along with Baby and Hawes.

Rotations also get shorter in the playoffs. Less Big Baby is a win.

Just scared of Crawford getting more time over JJ
