All the Wolves do is replace Love with Wiggins, and they go from 40 wins to 16 wins :confusedshrug:

Same argument being used by LeBron stans to call him the GOAT because of Cleveland's decline as soon as he left for Miami.

He's not empty stats.. just a poor closer. He's like a poor man's dirk Pretty much. If you put a great defensive center next to him and have a great passing PG he could have good impact on a winner.

Its true, but brains on ISH don't work like that. Either you score 28 ppg and win a title or you're an empty stats guy.
Also, blah blah rent free or whatever other stupid shit these sheep bleat at each other around here now.

Love is very good. If he wasn't LeBron wouldn't recruit him.

Kevin Martin has played 38 games this season, compared to 68 last year
Pekovic has played 31, compared to 54 last year
Rubio has played in only 22 games this season, compared to playing all of them last year. Plus the Wolves waived Barea, hurting their pg depth even further.
Not saying Love didn't carry that team, but it's disingenuous to say Love and Wiggins situation is the exact same.
Depends what you consider empty stats. You think Love is ever going to lead his team to a championship playing no defense and averaging 26/12? No. In that case he's a guy not as good as his stats as he probably isnt good enough to score 26 on a real contender and he wont get away with going after rebounds at the expense of defense to get to 15? I think he had one year. '
So yeah, those are empty stats. But that doesnt mean he isnt a great player. Or that Andrew Wiggins is better than him (yet). Those things should have been fairly obvious.

love was not an empty stats guy but he is a bad defender. that is pretty much it. he is also good player in the post but not a great post player like most people who rarely watched wolves think.

dUH,, Ricky Rubio out most of the year, Kevin Martin out for more than half of the year, Jose Barea and Corey Brewer gone as well.. They replaced them with two rookies and a number one draft pick that was a bust... Sure if they had kept Love they would have probably won 23 games
Love is a good scorer but his defense is atrocious.. I hope he goes to the Lakers..

What's Cleveland's record without LeBron but with Love?

The empty stats argument is lame.
That said, the Wolves lost a lot more than just Love this season.

Another idiotic thread from an idiot.
Minnesota has been decimated with injuries all season and swapped the great Love with a rookie.
If Wiggins goes consecutive seasons without COMBINING for 40 wins, you may have a point then.
