Let's see if Duncan can finally win a FMVP against Lebron, instead of hiding behind his superior teammates.

Let's see if LeBron can win a Finals against Duncan without a bailout 3 to save his legacy, instead of hiding on the bench with cramps.
It would be a fun series to watch especially after seeing the game a couple weeks ago where Kyrie dropped 57. Good pure basketball by both teams.

2013 was a massive choke job by the Spurs. They had 3 straight games at home after taking one game in Miami.
Basically couldn't win a 5 game series with the first 3 played on their home court.

Literally only one or two teams in NBA HISTORY have won the middle 3 home games. There's a reason why the NBA changed the Finals format after 2013.
Spurs choked, but it's unrealistic to expect a team to beat a defending champion 3 straight times at home. Very rarely done in NBA history.

Wade won Game 4 by himself.

Wade won Game 4 by himself.
By statpadding in garbage time and scoring less points than LeBron? (33 > 32 points) :facepalm

You do realize it's possible for Wade to have a better game than LeBron without "winning it by himself", right?

Lebron had 24 points when the game was basically over. Wade had 32 points and 6 steals and left with plenty of time left.
If you switched Wade for Shaq and Lebron for Kobe, you would be saying the same thing (and poeple did for 3 years).

It's only a rivalry if Rays on the team. He's the one that beat them after all.

Theres a difference betwen 32 points for Wade and 24 for Lebron and:
38ppg for Shaq and only 15ppg for Kobe,
thats a clear roleplayer ring

So you assume that, because I'm defending LeBron, I'm an irrational hypocrite? Not everyone falls onto one or the other side of this Kobe/LeBron pissing match. I happen to love and respect both players.
No I would not say the same thing about Kobe. He was not "carried" by Shaq... O'Neal was by far the team's most dominant player, but he wouldn't have won much of anything without Kobe. Kobe was a BEAST.
How about you just stick to the debate instead of spewing hyperbole like a little girl?
EDIT: just fixing typos.

Is that the "ankle" series?
People were said the same thing after these games....

The difference is that Shaq clearly outrebounded Kobe as well as shot much more efficiently (10+% more most of the time)
Those 2 things mean that even if Kobe was near Shaq in the point total, Shaqs impact was FAR more greater.
Its an apples to oranges comparision, especially when LeBron rebounds, passes, and defends much better than Wade in those games.
