The AA system (which works) is based around being anonymous

This lady knew what she did was wrong, something she regrets...so she opened up and spilled her guts to her sponsor because she wants and needs help fixing herself, and her sponsor sells her out.

Now she'll never trust that system again...and AA has a better success rate than any other method for alcoholics.

All I know is when I was 16, the moms started making their moves, and it's because that was the legal age where I was at. And it's no big deal. People acting like you are being raped or molested if you are 16 and some woman goes for it on you are stupid.

Every 16 year old guy wants it and won't turn it down, and there isn't any damage done by it. That's just bullshit. If anything, it just helps your sexual development. Those women in their 20s and 30s and 40s have a lot to teach.


youre just assuming.... non of the children listed were at the party, just her 16 year old. the white knighting im referring to is exactly what youre doing. trying to antagonize other posters because you feel what happened in this situation is wrong. when in fact, you made a general statement about her family life, based solely on this event. when again, her children were NOT there.



I agree. If its legal in their state, its legal in their state. Might seem like an awkward way to go about parenting to many of us, but technically nothing illicit about it.

I've read studies showing that AA has a better success rate than even top dollar psychologists...in fact most psychologists won't even treat alcoholics because it is so insanely difficult, they just tell them to go to AA.

This ain't psychology, it's actual medical science, and AA isn't nearly as successful as you say it is.

it's a hard thing to measure because what is "success"? staying sober 2 years? 5 years? till death?

All methods have a low success rate, alcoholism is very very hard to treat, vast majority in there relapse several times before quitting. But from what I have seen so far is that AA has the highest. Maybe there is something better, but I haven't seen it yet.
